Mobile apps for the field

The mobile app is the edge of the system: the point where data is born. If it is comfortable and honest there, everything downstream works; if it is awkward, people go back to paper and the ERP tells a false story.

Capture data where it is born

Every step where information is transcribed by hand a second time is a step that costs time and introduces errors. Capturing it on site — access, attendance, quantities, photos — and sending it straight into the business system removes double entry and moves control from memory to record.

People in the field have no time

The interface has to survive gloves, sunlight, hurry and one free hand: few taps for the most frequent action, large type, clear confirmations, and no long form to fill in standing up.

One codebase for iOS and Android with Flutter: the same experience on both systems and a single place to fix things.

Security on the device

When an app touches value or identity, sensitive credentials stay inside the device's secure enclave and delicate operations go through biometric confirmation. No secrets in plain application memory, and an explicit confirmation for every irreversible action.

Site app for a construction company

  • Flutter app for construction site access management, designed for use on the move by people who are not sitting at a computer.
  • Direct link to the company's Odoo system: what is recorded on site reaches the back office and attaches to the job's analytical accounting.

Mobile wallet of the Layer 2 platform

  • Cross-platform Flutter app to operate on the chain: balances, transfers, history and multilingual transactional notifications.
  • Private keys never leave the device's secure enclave, and biometric authentication is mandatory to sign a transaction.
  • On-device integration test suite beyond unit tests, because on a wallet a mistake cannot be patched the next day.
